The EXTRAORDINARY Women Fundraiser has reached 122 donors raising $122,000 for the Badger Park renovation project! Donations are still being accepted and by giving $1,000, you can honor an extraordinary woman in your life and recognize her on a plaque in Badger Park! The funds are being used for the long-anticipated renovation of the park, a cornerstone of local recreation, high school athletics, family gatherings and outdoor enjoyment. The fundraising effort is a partnership between the City of Shullsburg and Advance Shullsburg. The campaign is seeking support from individuals, families, businesses, and local organizations through tax-deductible monetary and in-kind donations. The City of Shullsburg is committed to preserving Badger Park as a vibrant public asset, and has pledged the first $500,000 towards the project.
The 100 Extraordinary Women is an initiative that encourages 100 women to each make a $1,000 donation toward the Badger Park Renovation project. Gifts can be made in memory or in honor of women as well! To learn more about 100EW or the Badger Park Renovation, visit www.advanceshullsburg.org/badgerpark
