Pool Manager- Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the municipal pool; supervising and scheduling of the pool staff; maintaining the daily and seasonal attendance records and concession sales; maintaining a clean environment, including bathhouse, restrooms, pool area and outside area. The manager is directly accountable to the Park Committee. Some certifications will be required. The work schedule is flexible but must be available 7 days per week. Wage- WSI Certified-$11.00.
Assistant Pool Manager– Assume the duties of the pool manager, when manager is not on duty. Assist with the staff scheduling, teach swim lessons and work with other city staff to keep the pool safe and clean. Must have the following certifications: Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid, Water Safety Instructor. Wage- WSI Certified- $10- Non WSI Certified- $9.50
Lifeguards– Lifeguard during pool open hours. Must have the following certifications: lifeguard, CPR and first aid. Water Safety Instructor certification preferred but not necessary. Must be at least 16 years of age. Wage: $8.00- $8.50 per hour.
Bathhouse Attendant– Duties include, but not limited to, registering persons for daily pool use, selling concessions and maintaining a clean and safe pool area including bathrooms and changing rooms. Any other duties as reasonably assigned by the pool manager. Wage: $7.25
Badger Mine & Museum Attendant/Tour Guide– Duties include but are not limited to giving tours of the museum and underground mine, keeping museum clean, keeping shelter houses and restrooms clean. Must be knowledgeable of historic artifacts or be willing to learn. Must have a polite and friendly attitude. Must be able to climb a steep staircase several times per day. Any other duties as reasonably assigned. Wage: $7.25-$8.25 per hour.
Park Maintenance Worker– Duties include but not limited to mowing and trimming of grass in all city parks and facilities. Assist the park director with maintenance of park facilities and playground equipment. Any other duties as reasonably assigned by the park director. Must be at least 16 years old and able to operate and maintain lawn care equipment. Wage: $7.25 per hour.
