The following Permits/License are required by the City of Shullsburg:
- Dog License- This
license is issued by the City Clerk/Treasuer and expires
December 31 regardless of the date issued. Any dog 5 months
of age or older must be licensed in the municipality where
the dog is kept. You must have proof of rabies vaccination
before a license can be issued. You will be charged a late
fee if the license is obtained after April 1.
- Operator (Bartender) License-This
is an annual license. All license, regardless of the date issued, expire June 30 each year. Complete
and submit the form to the Shullsburg City Clerk/Treasurer.
- Building Permit-
A building permit is required for new construction, remodeling,
additions, renovations, driveways, accessory buildings,
demolitions.
- Zoning Permit- Required for new construction, accessory building, driveways and additions. This may not be a complete list, please check with the City Clerk/Treasurer or Steve Leitzinger, Zoning Administrator- 608-965-3296
- Change of Zoning Request-
This form is used when a property owner is requesting that
the city change the zoning a specified parcel of land. Click

- Conditional Use Permit -
Each Zoning District has a specific list of Conditional
User permited with that district. Clerk here for more
information.
- Certifcate of Appropriateness- HISTORIC DISTRICT ONLY- Required for new construction, remodeling, additions, renovations, driveways, accessory buildings, demolitions regardless of cost. This may not be a complete list, please check with the City Clerk/Treasurer or

- Variane Appeal-
An appeal may be filed with the Board of Appeals when is
it allegd there is an error in any order, requirement, decision,
or determination made by the Building Inspector/Zoning Administrator.
