Take a guided tour of the Badger Mine & Museum. Descend 51 steps with your tour guide into a hand-dug 1827 mine. Marvel at the small side tunnels and wonder how men could crawl into such confined places and still work. Join us in summer 2006, as we unveil our newly renovated Mining Museum.  Work is in progress on the nearly $100,000 capital improvement project that will add new exhibits, a working model of 19th century lead mine, and state of the art technological features.
